I was uploading some art and looking through some of the older files posted here and I was wondering if we had tag parents. Like, if a file is given a tag it can also be given other tags automatically. For example: Tagging a file with "Bump" can also give that file the "oc", "deer", "ungulate", and "sthg" tags without the poster having to manually input all those extra tags. I know we have an alias system, but those are tag siblings, not tag parents. Alias replaces tags and/or treats multiple tags as the same.

It would really help speed up the process as we could give parents to a ton of tags without having to type them all in manually. And it would also give older posts some helpful descriptive tags and make them easier to find.

If this isn't possible thats ok. I was just wondering.

I really wish there was a way to load it all up, but there isn't with this old version of gelbooru, as far as I've understood, and there's no intention to upgrade any time soon.
There is the ability to set up tags under Options from your account, which just makes tagging a simple click, however.

Though, a lot of the extra tags are simply to go above and beyond for the sake of diverse browsing. When it comes to uploading, all we can ask for is just the character name and the artist, if known.

Oh, ok. I was under the assumption that every file needed as many relevant tags as possible because it makes specific files easier to find and I've seen a few older files of Bump with those tags. Thanks for the response.
