What the fuck is a "Booru" TL;DR Incoming
So I guess this is it, the beginning of the never-ending.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me whittle down every "tagme" as low as we could go! Even with what's left, it's still all tagged to the best of our abilities, and I appreciate that. Now that everything's sorted through, the real fun starts, I guess.

If you haven't caught on, you'll notice each post has some consistencies in its tags. All submissions, if they aren't screenshots from various media, have either a tag with #[name]_(artist) included, or #unknown_artist. Just so every piece of art has an attempt at a source, please, include a name. The unknown tag is already desperately in need of a proper comb-through.
Each post made needs mainly two things: An artist tag (if it's some spicy original content), and then a tag for whatever character is shown. I also highly recommend a tag for the rating, for convenience reasons, and then maybe a character source if they're not a part of the main cast.

EX: An image of the Biolizard drawn by Manguy would be tagged, at the very least, #Manguy_(artist) and #Biolizard.

EX2: An image of the Biolizard drawn by Manguy, if you want to be the real MVP, would be tagged #Manguy_(artist) #Biolizard #Sonic_Adventure_2 #Safe

The reasoning behind including (artist) in your tag after the artist's name is mostly for clarification reasons. Some artists get pretty basic with their names, and it'd be easier to have all of, say, Shorts' art in one place without getting mixed in with images from others that includes the article of clothing.

Since /sthg/ is on a blue board, I think we all know the alternative reasoning for this booru. The Booru Project, so everyone knows for sure, does not allow lolicon or toddlercon. (It also doesn't allow beastiality, child pornography, or hosting of copywritten images that aren't the property of the poster, but I'm assuming we'll never bump into that issue.) For the sake of half of this Booru's content, all explicit images are of characters who are depicted as 18 years old, or older. Anything that explicitly shows otherwise in the image will result in it being removed immediately.
For example's sake, I wouldn't feel comfortable hosting questionable and explicit images of Cream if she still looks like her 6-year-old self. If there is an explicit announcement about being underage, or the character looks too child-like, it won't stay on the booru. It hasn't been a problem, but, you know. Just throwing it out there.

I'll probably whip up a doc explaining a little more about tagging, but, for now, just worry about including a tag for the character, rating, and an artist source. Anything extra, go wild. Please, I insist.

Please do keep in mind this Booru is for /sthg/ and its content specifically. Try to keep as many unrelated images out as possible. I, too, am a fan of some of the Sonic-related images from other sources, but if they're not related to the general in some way, they really don't belong here.

In short, keep #tagme to a minimum, don't be too stupid, have fun, strap in, I love you.

The Even Too Longer To Read
Happy reading, if you wish. There's a list of the artists that are in the booru included for your (and my) reference.
